Maverick Magazine Review-Stronger Than Steel
4 Stars****

www.maverick-country.com

Destined for placement on people’s Top 10 albums due to the feisty yet tender vocals and simply played but infectiously catchy instrumentals.

"On Music Box, France, we do really love Rustie Blue since we discovered
her with her album and one of its title /Chip, Chip/. Our auditors have
even nominated Rustie Blue as "Female Artist of the Year" for the Music
Box Tv Awards 2005 !
Since we program regularly this artist on our wave for the biggest
pleasure of everyone.
Her last album, *Stronger Than Steel*, particularly pleases me and I
have already programmed, in the broadcast /Honky Tonk Music Box/, some
titles as /Stronger Than Steel, Shape Up Heart, Cowgirls Do It Better/
(one of my favorites). It sounds like country we love, with spirit and
dynamism. This album should make altogether the hapiness of the real
amators of the most beautiful music in the world and the country line
dancers as well." .....Quentin Gerard, Music Box TV France.

Rustie Blue-Stronger Than Steel Review
It is very difficult for me to decide what to write about Rustie Blue. Her CD Stronger Than Steel is quite a surprise. I am left scratching my head and wondering why, with this being her fourth album, is she not on the radio? This rollicking romp reminds me why I am such a fan of the genre. I find it most refreshing to hear an artist that is not trying to pretend to be something they are not. There are no illusions of pop crossover in any of the tracks. They are unflinchingly country through and through.

Dave "Hop" Johnson, Hopalot Productions-"Cowgirls Do It Better"
"Some singer/songwriters will put a song on a project that is a true reflection of themselves.
Rustie Blue's latest single "Cowgirls Do It Better" is that song for her. Even though it was
co-penned by Rustie, Mark Trail and John Foster, it is all about the Lancaster, Ohio native.
Soon the American Country scene will find out what the European Country scene already
knows. Rustie is a true-to-the-bone talent." -Dave "Hop" Johnson, Hopalot Productions

Stuart Cameron-Cowgirls Do It Better
"There's no doubt that Rustie Blue's current album is a career highlight for the raunchy lady who
delivers no-nonsense music. The new single, "Cowgirls Do It Better", is one of the best songs on
the album and is clearly being enjoyed and promoted all over Europe by DJs who share that view.
I can't wait for the next album for sure - her career is certainly on the way up!"

Rafel Corbi, European Country Music Association quote
"One Hot Summer Ago" is one of the most beautiful ballads of the last years. A song to love and cry that works deep inside your heart thanks to the wonderful and technically perfect voice of Rustie Blue. She is one of the most exciting female vocalists in today's country music scene.

Florent Dufour, FACM Reviews Stronger Than Steel
Bien dommage, car plein d'entrain…

Stuart Cameron quote on Stronger Than Steel
"It's been a four year wait for the new Rustie Blue album and it's been well worth the wait. In that four years Rustie has matured into a performer who is at the very top of her tree on the independent scene, and the only problem was being able to choose the right singles to promote the album. There are so many potential singles on this album - each track offering something different and refreshing. I cannot recommend the album enough; a tremendous effort all round!"

Jack Lowe, About.com Reviews Stronger Than Steel
Stronger Than Steel is a solid country album that can stand on it's own against any of the major performers of today. If you like your country music fun and with a little attitude, then you will love Rustie Blue's latest CD Stronger Than Steel.

Gerry Ford, Country Music & Dance Scotland Reviews Stronger Than Steel
four years in the making and certainly worth the wait as Rustie says “…I feel as though I finally have found myself and (my) voice in this album…”. Her vocal is stronger and more forceful, and her delivery excellent. The songs suit her raunchy style and with great guitars fiddles and steel its like listening to a female who is more like Gretchen than Dolly.

David Pierce, Today's Country Magazine Reviews Stronger Than Steel
Rustie Blue is certainly not a newcomer to music city. She has been stamping her name around town via three album releases, and a duet with Bill Anderson called “Chip Chip,” has gained her a lot of attention.

To a pounding beat a la line-dance style, this talented Ohio gal gives us some great attention-grabbing adult-contemporary country-rock repertoire.

Chris Conn Quote on Stronger Than Steel
I am excited to be featuring Rustie on tomorrow’s show! "This Friday, I will be featuring a great singer/songwriter by the name of Rustie Blue. I have known Rustie for years and continue to watch her star rise! She recently sent me a copy of her new CD, Stronger Than Steel, and I was blown away by her level of talent and maturity of the album. This is exactly why I started ‘Bar Bands & Basement Tapes’! I want the rest of the nation to know that there is more to country music than just the top 40 songs you hear on most radio stations!" Chris Conn, Host of the national Conman Radio Show.

Cowgirl Hit!
Rustie Blue stopped by one afternoon during the CMA Music Festival and played a song hot of the pen-she had a songwriting session that morning and wrote "Cowgirls Do It Better," a rompingly funny look at the romantic world of guys and gals.

"Chip Chip," 7 out of 7 stars!!
For her debut CD Rustie Blue features a duet with Whisperin' Bill Anderson Bill Anderson who co-wrote the tilte cut as well as two other tunes on the album. The other twelve cuts were written by some Music City's premier songwriters. Produced by Mike Headrick for Center Stage Production, the artist takes you back to what country music use to be with backing by some of the best session players in the business. Rustie Blue's strong, clear vocals remind one of such stars as Dottie West, especially on the " Same Old Who" cut penned by Eddie Drake. This is a kickin' butt album with Texas fiddles and all. You'll want it! Go to www.rustieblue.com or ask for it at your favorite record store.
