Nashville, TN (July 7th 2009) It has just been announced that Rustie Blue has been NOMINATED in the prestigious 2008/2009 ECMA (European Country Music)Annual Awards in the category of "Female Artist Of The Year." ECMA members and reporters can vote for 2008/2009 ECMA Annual Awards starting this week. Blue previously won an ECMA Award for "Vocal Collaboration Of The Year" with Bill Anderson in 2005 for their smash European hit "Chip Chip."

Rustie Meets Ohio Governor Ted Strickland!
Rustie Blue was asked to sing the Star Spangled Banner at a recent event in her home town of Lancaster, OH. She also performed gospel favorite "Satisfied," which can be found on her current cd, Chip Chip. She then had the chance to spend a few minutes with the governor of Ohio, Ted Strickland.

Rustie Advances to Third Round in the ISC!
Rustie Blue advances to the third round in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) with her song "Honky Tonkin' Diva", (co-writer Mike Headrick) from her album Chip Chip. "Honky Tonkin' Diva" was one of the songs selected from 15,000 entries; Only 10% of the songs are chosen to move onto third round! The Grand Prize Winner and the winners in each category will be announced in March 2006.
