Rustie is on her way to Austin! Placing first in the final round of voting for the Top 5 at Famecast.com, Rustie has been named as a finalist on the Country Stage for the Fenomenon competition at Famecast!

Rustie Blue's single, "Don't Come Cryin," from the "Chip Chip" album, was picked on After Midnight With Blair Garner's Pick It or Flick It! "Don't Come Cryin" aired on March 18th. After Midnight With Blair Garner is a syndicated radio show with over 250 affiliated Clear Channel radio stations. Rustie Blue was asked to sing the Star Spangled Banner at a recent event in her home town of Lancaster, OH. She also performed gospel favorite "Satisfied," which can be found on her current cd, Chip Chip. She then had the chance to spend a few minutes with the governor of Ohio, Ted Strickland.

Rustie Blue advances to the third round in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) with her song "Honky Tonkin' Diva", (co-writer Mike Headrick) from her album Chip Chip. "Honky Tonkin' Diva" was one of the songs selected from 15,000 entries; Only 10% of the songs are chosen to move onto third round! The Grand Prize Winner and the winners in each category will be announced in March 2006.
